What makes therapeutic riding so special?
Learning to ride is about much more than sitting in the saddle. Through purposeful riding exercises, trail course obstacles, and structured patterns, riders develop balance, coordination, focus, confidence, independence, and life skills.
A rider who once needed significant assistance may learn to guide their horse through an obstacle. Someone who struggles with communication may develop new ways to connect through grooming and working with a horse.
